Step 1 - Getting Started

Welcome to Co-Signer.com, the nation's premier residential lease co-signing service! Our application process has been designed to be quick and easy to complete. Whether you have been told by a landlord that you need a co-signer or are just starting the rental process, we can help you.

We recommend that you give yourself at least 20 minutes to complete our online application. Once you start the application process you must complete all required fields and submit the completed application. If you are unable to complete the application and close your browser session, you will need to start over from the beginning.

Our application will ask you to provide specific information about your income, personal history and rental history. It would be helpful to have the following information available prior to starting the application:

• Current landlord information (if any)
• Employer or source of income information
• Information about the property you would like to rent (landlord contact info
   and property address)
• Estimated new monthly rent

We have provided the following rent calculator to help you determine the approximate amount of monthly rent that Co-Signer.com would be willing to guarantee on your behalf. In general, we use a 3 to 1 income to rent ratio to determine the monthly amount of rent we are willing to guarantee. For example, if your gross monthly income is $2,100, you may qualify for up to $700 in monthly rent guaranteed by Co-Signer.com. Simply enter your monthly income in the box below to determine the amount of monthly rent you may qualify for:

Step 2 - Fill out the Application

Be sure to complete all of the questions on the application, as they are necessary in bringing you closer to getting a co-signer.

Once submitted, you will receive an immediate notification.

Step 3 - Gather your Information

Upon receiving a "pre-approval" for co-signing services, you will be asked to sign a Consent to Screen form and pay a $50 fee that will be used to order a credit, rental history and criminal background report.

After we have evaluated your screening report, we will notify you within 24 hours if you are fully approved for our co-signing service and the amount of rent we are willing to guarantee. Applicants who are fully approved will be required to pay an additional $75 document processing fee and will also be asked to provide the information requested below.

		The 1st 2 pages of your last 2 years of federal and state income tax returns ( first 2 pages only).
		At least 2 payroll stubs in the past 2 months.
		The last 2 months of your bank statements for each account they currently have.
		Copy of your current Driver License or Federal ID card.
		Copy of your Social Security card.
		The contact information of 3 relatives not living with you, excluding any co-applicants.
		The contact information of 3 personal references not living with you and excluding any co-applicants.
		*A copy of your new lease signed by you and the Landlord, once acquired to show the monthly rent amount, any security and other deposits, and length of lease.
